Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Terms: This is a full-time position operating at The House of KOKO on a rota basis across 5 days per week, usually Tuesday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with reasonable flexibility to accommodate events and business needs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and experienced Daytime Floor Manager to lead our daytime operations at The House of KOKO. This is a key leadership role for someone who is independent, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a true passion for hospitality and guest experience.

Reporting to the senior operational team and working closely with all departments, you will be responsible for ensuring every detail of our daytime service is delivered to the highest standards. You’ll set the tone for the day – ensuring our spaces are impeccable, our team is prepared and our members feel genuinely welcomed.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally hands-on, enjoy leading from the floor and are energised by interacting with guests and supporting the team. You’ll have a sharp eye for standards, the confidence to make decisions independently, and the drive to take full ownership of our daytime experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of all daytime operations across the House, ensuring spaces are immaculately presented and service is consistently exceptional.
  • Engage directly with members and guests to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining an elevated standard of service.
  • Be a visible, hands-on leader across all club areas, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they arise.
  • Plan and oversee daily set-up with precision, ensuring every element is in place to enable a smooth and successful service.
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure the team is informed, energised, and focused.
  • Work collaboratively across departments – events, kitchen, front desk and facilities, ensuring seamless daytime operations and member satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with Reception and Guest Relations team to deliver a seamless member experience.
  • Support event readiness during daytime hours, ensuring spaces are prepared and the team is aligned with the event schedule.
  • Monitor service standards throughout the day, coaching and guiding the team where needed.
  • Support with HR-related tasks including monitoring lateness, managing absences and arranging team breaks to ensure fairness and operational flow.
  • Provide clear and concise end-of-day updates or reports to the wider management team, highlighting positive service points, any issues or action points.
  • Maintain awareness of all club activity, including events, member preferences and operational challenges to support departments accordingly.
  • Take responsibility for training, development, and team performance across daytime shifts.
  • Assist with team scheduling, stock control and financial accountability.
  • Uphold health & safety, licensing, and food safety standards at all times.
