MEGA aka Megaishername is that rare artist  whose voice and songwriting seems to connect with our very souls. Her music is a vivid tapestry of influences, drawing from her Ugandan heritage and love of a broad spectrum of genres including soul, pop and indie. At 100 million+ streams, she’s a British star in-waiting who’s already seen national support from The Independent, NME, The Times, NPR Wonderland, Clash –  praised for her vocal prowess, empowering lyrics and themes of mental resilience.

Just released, the British-Ugandan artist’s fourth EP, I Am Enough, is a stunning and assured work that urges us to reclaim our power, and to step into life with a renewed sense of purpose.

Whilst her latest single “My Bones”- which currently sits on the BBC Radio 2 Playlist and The Times Best New Songs Of 2025 – it is placed as the EP centrepiece,  each of the 5 songs on I Am Enough feel like equally important storytelling moments. I Am Enough has already been selected by NPR  as best albums of 2025 she has been as selected as The Standard’s Ones to watch.

After a year of live shows at Little Simz’ Meltdown Festival and supporting Cat Burns, Mega is bringing her blend of modern soul to KOKO. Mega’s story is one of resilience and rediscovery.

With a big voice, big heart and big songs that explore vulnerability, self-realisation and empowerment, the vocalist and songwriter is here to make her mark.

In  words of LadyGunn magazine – cemented her as “one of the UK’s most exciting voices”. This is a show you don’t want to miss.
