Since coming to prominence with 2006 debut LP ‘Handful of Soul’, the unmistakably warm tones and rich, deep vocals of Mario Biondi’s soulful approach to jazz have sent the Italian standard-bearer around the world, with multi-platinum selling albums to his name alongside collaborations with such luminaries as Burt Bacharach, Chaka Khan and Michael Bolton. Here, he plays as part of the prestigious EFG London Jazz Festival, in support of recent EP ‘L’Oro’.
