Named one of BBC 6 Music’s Artists of 2023, Antony Szmierek’s blend of northern poetry and euphoric dance has earned him comparisons from Mike Skinner to John Cooper Clarke, with his live prowess confirmed via memorable slots at Glastonbury 2024 and on Later… with Jools Holland. In support of highly-anticipated debut album ‘Service Station At The End Of The Universe’, he brings his “blissfully optimistic” (Time Out London) Mancunian storytelling to KOKO’s theatre.
